General
Translation is the process of changing written material from one language to another, while interpreting is the process of facilitating oral communication between foreign speakers.
When you have your documents translated by Lingua Franca, each translation is carried out by a professional who is native in the language to which the document is being translated; this helps ensure that the translation “reads well” in the target language.
Prices
Our starting price per word is CI$0.08 or US$0.1, but the final cost will depend on different factors like:
- Your target languages.
- How many documents.
- The number of pages.
However, for documents of 3 pages or less there’s a fixed price of CI$35 or US$42 per page translated. We realize that this might be inconvenient for some of our clients, therefore we try to consider the requirements of each project and price accordingly.
We run frequent promotions for our clients, you can take advantage if you subscribe to our mailing list to stay informed of our latest promotions. We do our best to offer competitive rates when we provide a quote. If you require translation services often, we would be happy to discuss special rates and quantity discounts.
Getting a quote is easy. Just use one of the “Request A Quote” buttons available on the site, this will take you to a form where you can describe your project, select the output languages and attach your files. We will get back to you with an accurate quote as soon as possible.
We accept domestic bank transfers and international bank transfers, bank drafts, and cash payments.

You can send us your documents by attaching them to the form when requesting a quote on the site or sending us an email at info@linguafrancaky.com.
We translate all business and personal documents no matter how big or small. We like to say that if it can be written it can be translated.
We accept the following document formats:
DOCX, DOC, TXT, RTF, ODP, ODS, PPTX, PPSX, PPT, PPS, RESX, PO, XLSX, XLS, TTX, SDLXLIFF, XLF, XLIFF, TMX, PDF, JPG, TIFF, BMP, PNG, GIF, DJVU.
If your document is in a format that is not on the list, we might still be able to translate it, please send us an email to info@linguafrancaky.com with the specifics.
The time depends on the size of your project and any deadlines that you might have. On average, we are able to deliver approximately 2,000 words in 24 hours. We can always discuss and coordinate deadlines with you based on your individual requirements.
